Whether it’s tears of joy or sadness, as a parent you’ve probably had a little cry at the school gates this week.
With the kids back in their classes, attention quickly turns back to education and how we can help our little ones succeed in their subjects.
If your child is finding maths tricky, there is a simple way you can get them practicing at home – and fear not, it doesn’t involve dragging out the text books and calculator.
Maths-Whizz is an online tutoring service but rather than having a real life person helping your child through a topic it’s all done with AI.
Designed for children aged between five and 13, Maths-Whizz can be used on the computer, tablet or mobile and is not much different to the games you’ve likely downloaded to your phone to keep the kids busy on long car journeys.
Don’t rely on your maths brain when you could have an expert’s FREE for 7 days
Maths-Whizz is a super clever virtual maths tutor which delivers interactive games, lessons and exercises for five to 13 year olds.
To see how good it is at transforming home learning for parents, we’ve negotiated an exclusive 20% off price to make it £15.99 for the first month.
See if you like it first and sign up to a 7-day no-obligation free trial by clicking here. If you want to sign up for a month at a time or even a year, you can do that here but don’t forget to use the promo code ‘MATHS20’.

Using animated games, Maths-Whizz will work out at what level (or “maths age”) your child is and what they need to improve on.
From there your child will be given games to play based on the subjects they need to revise, and they will earn points to spend on customising their personal avatar.
Studies have seen that children who play just an hour of Maths-Whizz a week for a year accelerate their learning by 18 months.
It’s also used in a number of schools up and down the UK, so it will have your teacher’s seal of approval.
With the start of the school year, Maths-Whizz is offering a 7 day free trial of tutoring. After that, if you want to sign up you can use the promo code ‘MATHS20’ for 20% off.
Richard Marett, CEO of Whizz Education said: “Having spoken to many teachers and parents recently, the feedback has been that learning loss experienced by students during the pandemic has been felt most acutely in maths.
“By completing the initial assessment in our virtual tutor, Maths-Whizz, parents will find out the ‘maths age’ of their child, a clear guide to how far forward or behind their child is performing.
“Not only that, the parent dashboard shows how their child is faring in different areas of maths.
“Having completed the assessment, the virtual tutor creates an individualised programme for each child to redress their weakness and push them forward, creating a solid base for more complex maths in later years.”
