Stacey Solomon has let slip when she will finally swap vows with fiancé Joe Swash as she shared a message online thanking some friends for a pre-wedding gift.
The 31-year-old Loose Women star has been engaged to ex-EastEnders star Joe, 39, since December last year – and the pair have been an item since 2015, and welcomed their first child together in May 2019.
Stacey, who is currently pregnant with her second child with Joe – and will welcome her first daughter with the star – has been getting in the wedding mood all weekend.
The star has been enjoying a hen do weekend with some of her closest friends – and, in sharing a message of thanks to the friends in her life, has let slip she and Joe will be tying-the-knot next summer.
Posing in a pair of bride-to-be slippers, which featured the words “I do” on the toe vamp, Stacey revealed the big day will be in July 2022.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Sunday, the star wrote: “Good morning. Had the loveliest weekend with the girls about to leave to go home and have a lazy Sunday with the boys.”
She continued: “Thank you girl for the loveliest, silliest, sunniest days ever. You are all so special to me.”
She added: “I’ll be living in these slippers every day until next July I’m in love.”
Stacey and Joe decided to move their wedding day to next year after discovering they would be welcoming a new baby this year.
The announced last month that Stacey is pregnant with her fourth child – and revealed earlier this month that she is expecting a baby girl.
Stacey and Joe already have a son named Rex who they welcomed in May 2019 – while Stacey has a 13-year-old son named Zachary and a nine-year-old son named Leighton from two earlier relationships.
The duo explained the arrival of the new baby affected wedding plans, explains they would have been: “gutted if we were looking back at the pictures and all of our children weren’t there”.
Stacey’s sister, Jemma, threw a bachelorette party for Stacey over the weekend to get her looking ahead to her big day.
Jemma explained on Instagram that she’d been unable to cancel hen do plans that had already been booked before the wedding date was moved to 2022.
Stacey shared video of herself over the weekend getting in to a party bus.
She explained on Instagram Stories at the time: “When you’re about to put your PJs on and settle down for the night. And your sister turns up and tells you she couldn’t move your hen so ‘get an overnight bag and get on the party bus Stace’.”
She jokingly adding: “Send help”
While Jemma shared other photos and videos on her own Instagram Stories – and promised lucky Stacey would get “another hen next year.”
