Sad One: Wife Of Veteran Actor Olu Jacobs Reveals The Sickness He Is Suffering From

Old age is inevitable and everyone will surely go through that at some point.

But sometimes, watching our loved ones age is something we are not ready to witness. Also seeing the celebrities we have come to love because of the many years of entertainment they gave us is equally something we are not ready to see.

Nollywood legend Olu Jacobs is someone that is well loved by his fans world over. He is not just an excellent actor, he is a thespian who has seen it all. Olu Jacobs had featured in a couple of Hollywood movies in the past. He had also featured in many stage plays and drama.

He recently celebrated his 79th birthday and looking at him, fans are heartbroken at how he is aging. Fact is, people age differently, some of his age mates look better, but that is how life is.

His lovely wife and veteran actress Joke Silva has finally revealed the sickness her husband is suffering from.

In an interview with the award winning Chude Jideonwo Joke said her husband Olu Jacobs is suffering from Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB). The beautiful 60 year old actress said the sickness has been going on for years now. She smiled and said this is the first time she is making it public.

Joke said her husband Olu Jacobs has been dealing with Dementia for many years now.

According to research: ” It is a degenerative disease that affects the brain and it is almost like a Parkinson type of disease, it affects the brain and affects the person in so many ways. ”

Speaking further, the actress reminisced on the old times when they worked together and said he missed those times. Read her words:

” We have gone through some times and situations recently that I wish I had the old you here so I don’ t battle these times on my own but we are grateful for the moment of clarity. I miss the times we work together. ”

Well, as I said earlier, old age is inevitable, everybody will surely get there. One thing is, nobody can ever choose how they want to age.

No one can choose the type of sickness they will suffer, we can’ t even choose how we will look like while aging.
