In a recent post on her Instagram, Rebecca spoke about how excited she is to introduce her new character, Daisy Monroe, a gregarious socialite.

‘Meet Louis Oakley and Daisy Monroe – a disbarred London lawyer and a Sydney Socialite with nothing in common other than the failing vineyard they’re about to inherit in the South Island of NZ,’ she wrote alongside a promotional photo.

Gibney, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, said she hopes the characters are well received by fans, writing: ‘I hope you’ll fall in love with them as much as I have’.

‘I cry every episode! You’ll probably get sick to death of seeing me cry,’ she told Now To Love.

‘All of a sudden you feel like you’ve been stripped naked because it’s like, “Oh, now it’s just me,”‘ the Packed To The Rafters star added.

Rebecca also told the publication that she always knew she had no chance of winning the Channel 10 series.

‘I would love to win MasterChef, but it’s just never going to happen… without cheating,’ she laughed.
