The police in the southwest region of Nigeria, Osun State precisely has began the process of conducting the autopsy on the body of Timothy Adegoke, the late Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU student who died when he travel from Abuja to Ile- Ife to write an exam.
Adegoke lodge in Hilton Hotel and Resorts, Ile- Ife before he got missing and authorities later find his corpse. The news flying around about him missing and his death has made headlines and has cause controversy especially with the news surrounding the circumstances which lead to his death and suspects that have been arrested by the police on the case.
The PUNCH NEWSPAPERS, the way police discover the body of the late OAU postgraduate student is also one that has cause controversy. Different rumors has also spread on the whether some of his body parts are missing after his body was dug up from a shallow grave, where he was found.
But the spokesman of the police operatives in the state, Yemisi Opalola said the findings of the autopsy from the public, the autopsy will also help to clear up issues pertaining to the cause of his death.
Meanwhile the management of OAU said all necessary support will be given to the police to make sure that they get to the root of the matter. Abiodun Olanrewaju told news men that: ” The university management are not happy that this type of incident was recorded. Vice chancellor want to assure the public that the university administration will cooperate with the security agencies to investigate to the root on how the unfortunate incident happened” , he said.
Adegoke was happy married with children.

- Rumor was everywhere about the missing of Timothy Adegoke on November 7.
Adegoke, who is an Abuja based student, traveled to Ife on November 5 to write an examination in the school distance learning centre in Moro, Osun State.
His family and friends began to worry when they were unable to reach him as he did not show up for the exam.

Police arrested Dr. Rahman Adedoyin, owner of the hotel where Adegoke lodged before he got missing and six other suspects on the case. They are undergoing interrogation in the police custody.
Who Is Dr. Rahman AdeDoyin?
Dr. Rahman AdeDoyin is the owner of the hotel, Hilton Resorts where Mr. Adegoke lodged.
He is an educationist and businessman who is the founder and proprietor of Oduduwa University and the polytechnic, Ile- Ife.
Rahman AdeDoyin is born into a Royal family in the ancient city of Ife in Osun State. He completed is primary and secondary education in Osun state before he proceeded to University of IFR (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where he obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in 1983 after he study Mathematics Education. He was award his doctorate degree in 1996 from all Saints University School of Medicine, New York City.
He is also a fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Industrial Statisticians.
