Police have arrested a man on suspicion of raping a 19-year-old woman in a multi-storey car park after both are thought to have been in a nearby nightclub.
The teenager was attacked between midnight and 3am last Sunday and it led to a major police investigation in Worthing, West Sussex, with an appeal for witnesses.
Now police have arrested a 24-year-old man over the attack which they understood took place after both were in the Jungle nightclub, on Chatsworth Road.
He has been released on bail while the investigation called Operation Mind continues.
