Kanye West wants to share custody of his four kids with Kim Kardashian, in their ongoing divorce.
On Friday, April 9, the rapper’s attorneys filed his response in Los Angeles superior court to Kardashian West’s February divorce filing to end their six-and-a-half-year marriage.
According to TMZ, Kanye’s response to Kardashian’s February divorce filing both stars say they don’t need spousal support and cited irreconcilable differences in their split. Kanye West, 43, and Kardashian, 40, married in 2014.
They have two daughters in 7-year-old North and 3-year-old Chicago, and two sons in 5-year-old Saint and Psalm, who turns 2 next month.
And like Kardashian West’s filing, West’s asks that the court’s right to award spousal support to either person be terminated.
West and Kardashian had a prenup in place, making their split “an easy case of ‘You keep your money and I’ll keep mine,’” the source added
The financial outlet listed West as a billionaire in 2020, while a Bloomberg report earlier this year suggested the hip hop artist and clothing designer’s net worth could exceed $6 billion.
