Are you an experienced HR Business Partner who can identify themes and issues across a particular area and work with senior management to address them? The British Red Cross is seeking an experienced HR professional who will be accountable for the business partnering service provided to the People Directorate.

What you will be doing
As Senior HR Business Partner, you will be working with business partners from other functions to encourage a collaborative approach and to identify issues of mutual interest and concern.

You will be responsible for promoting and encouraging effective people management throughout the directorates, including the use of data and other metrics and ensuring that people issues are taken in to account in all the functions plans and will be expected to provide insightful analysis of available data.

This role is instrumental in facilitating a strong performance management culture supported by enabling policy aligned to our People Strategy and major change programmes.

What we are looking for
It is essential that you are an experienced leader with a good understanding of the full range of HR services (Resourcing, Advice and Casework, Development, Employee relations, volunteer management).

You will have experience as a senior professional, or senior operational manager with extensive experience of working with HR professionals.

Having worked as a genuine partner to a business or service, you will have delivered workforce planning to develop enabling work programmes.

Data literate, you will have the ability to interpret and share reports and KPIs as well as having experience of using metrics and other data in HR management.
