An abandoned cottage in Wales appears frozen in time, with objects left untouched by its mysterious owners.
The property in Wrexham has caught the attention of urban explorers, who went to take pictures to try to discover more about its history.
It is not clear who lived there or when they left and the only clues are some photographs of a smartly dressed couple dotted around a clock.
An explorer who visited the house told North Wales Live : “The house lies in a very remote location within Wrexham, surrounded by clouded mountain tops.
“As you enter the house you instantly pick up the eerie feeling within the walls, it’s like time has frozen and the occupiers that once lived in the house have just vanished off the face of the earth.”
The explorer said there are photos in colour, as well as black and white, but no other clues on the identity of the owners.
They added: “Accessing the house is slightly difficult and a little messy as there is no accessible road and the land is boggy and lightly flooded from the rain water coming off the mountain tops, but once you are inside the house seems structurally safe.
“I was able to access all of the rooms in the house which consists of the kitchen, dining room, front room, pantry and bathroom, as well as the bedrooms.”

The explorer said the most surprising thing about the house is that there is no toilet.
All the objects left in the home, such as reading glasses and sweet tins, seem quite old – but the microwave strangely appears to be new and more modern compared to everything else.
The explorer added: “The house itself has obviously been abandoned for many years as the decay is extensive and rotted in places.
“Everything else in this home seems old and as if it’s been left for ages yet the microwave seems rather new.
“Whoever lived here collected model cars with several still on display in the kitchen area and looked quite old.
“One baffling thing was that there was no toilet in the house and there wasn’t one in the bathroom.”
