Former WWE superstar Charlie Haas was reportedly stretchered out after making his IMPACT Wrestling debut on Sunday night.

The 49-year-old wrestler made a surprise appearance at the company’s set of tapings over the weekend, but it’s said he suffered an injury scare in the ring.

In scenes which are yet to air on television, Haas came out to challenge former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Josh Alexander to a match, which would eventually happen later in the tapings.

As reported by PWInsider, after the bout the two opponents were attacked by a group of Ring of Honor wrestlers, and it’s said Haas was hurt during the melee.

He ended up being stretchered to the back, where it’s said he was able to get up and walk around, and it’s thought he will be OK despite what was described as a ‘scary’ moment.

Haas is yet to comment publicly on the incident.

Haas’ debut comes at a thrilling time for IMPACT, who are coming off the back of a huge weekend highlighted by Hard To Kill on Saturday night.

At the pay-per-view event, a group of ROH stars – including Mike Bennett, Matt Taven, PCO, Vincent and Maria Kanellis – made their presence felt after a Hardcore War won by Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Rhino and Heath.

The winners didn’t have long to celebrate as the invaders hopped the barrier, and it’ll be interesting to see where things go from here.

Meanwhile, the night before Hard To Kill saw WWE announce that the current IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Mickie James – who retained the title on Saturday night in a brutal Texas Death Match against Deonna Purrazzo – will be in the Women’s Royal Rumble.

On 29 January, 30 women will be competing in the iconic match with a world title match at WrestleMania hanging in the balance, and while the bout is known for its surprises, no one could have expecting Mickie to be named less than a year after she was released from the company.

She’ll appear alongside the likes of Nikki and Brie Bella, Summer Ray, Lita, Michelle McCool, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
