Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) will see Gavin’s (Ben Richards) dark side once more as his anger grows over Al’s inability to get the new Woolpack redevelopment plan underway in Emmerdale.

Over Christmas, Al put a plan into place to try and free himself from the nightmare he was living.

Unplugging a Christmas timer from the lights, Al attached it to the microwave.

Throwing utensils in the appliance, Al’s plan saw an almighty explosion rip through the pub, throwing Meena (Paige Sandhu) and Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) to the floor.

Coming up, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Marlon (Mark Charnock) are gutted their insurance claim is void as they failed to mention the development plans.

Seeing no other option, Chas agrees to sign the papers Al has drafted for ownership of the pub.

Later, on a country road, Al is frustrated when Gavin tells him to offer Chas and Marlon less money.

Before long, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) spots a change to the plans and when Chas examines the contract, she’s angered to spot Al has dropped the price by £20k.

Aware Chas and Marlon haven’t signed the contract, Gavin puts more pressure on Al – he has just 2 days to get it signed, leaving Al in no doubt he’s in big trouble if he fails.

But will he?

Could Gavin have Al murdered if he’s unable to get Chas and Marlon to sign?
