Scheming and plotting are at the top of just about everyone’s lists in EastEnders next week, as some do whatever they can to stay alive, while others manipulate the situation to their advantage.

Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) is keen to register baby Jordan’s birth, but Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) is concerned, telling Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) that even if Gray does go down, she will never be rid of him as long as he’s registered on the birth certificate.

Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol), meanwhile, attempts to buy Chelsea some time to enact her plan, as he takes Gray out for a drink.

Will his efforts pay off? That remains to be seen, but with Chelsea struggling to eat later in the week, Gray reveals he’s got a huge surprise in store.

But just what is it?

Elsewhere, Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) is up to no good once again, as she asks Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) to use The Vic as her address when the social worker comes to visit regarding Scarlett (Tabitha Byron).

What’s more, she begs the landlord to fake being a couple with her! Mick reluctantly agrees, but will Janine’s plan pay off?

Or will her scheming have all been for nothing?
