A busy mum has been slammed by organised housewives over the state of her laundry after uploading a photo of her huge pile of washing.
The mum-of-three said she simply stopped sorting clothes for two weeks after deciding she was ‘over it’.
‘Has anyone got or had a bigger Mount Foldmore pile, or do I win some sort of award,’ the mum joked on a popular cleaning page.
A busy mum has been slammed by organised housewives over the state of her laundry after uploading a photo of her huge pile of washing
But her attempt at humour appeared lost on many of the mums in the group who dubbed her ‘lazy’ and ‘dirty’.
‘Lord have mercy, I would just throw it all out,’ one woman said.
‘You win. I get life is hard and we have busy lives and I am far from perfect, but my laundry has never been like this,’ one woman said.
‘I wash, fold and put it away in one day, make it a habit,’ said another.
‘How does this happen, make the other people in your life accountable,’ said another.
But others could relate.
‘When you have a big family it doesn’t take long for things to get like that,’ one mum said.
‘Mine looks like that constantly, I just let it go now,’ said another.
She then showed off her after photo and said it only took her two hours to clean
And the mum also took time to hit back at trolls.
‘Some of you wouldn’t last a day in my life if clean clothes would send you into a total spin or you’d cry about it,’ she laughed.
‘Took me two hours and no stress at all. I decided not to do it for two weeks and I’ve learnt it’s ok for me to not be able to everything perfect,’ she said.
She also posted an after photo showing how clean the laundry was after she spent a few hours getting through the pile.
