The mum of Britain’s biggest family says they are “dropping like flies” after a health scare.
Sue Radford, who has 22 children, spoke out as she battles a stomach bug that has crippled the rest of the family.
The virus has swept around her bumper brood with her kids ‘throwing up’ everywhere, too, BirminghamLive reports.
Sue revealed: “The kids have been back at school for three days and we have a nasty stomach bug quickly working its way around the house.
“Poor Tillie was supposed to be starting high school today but she’s been up all night throwing up.”
She added they were “dropping like flies” and it was the “worst thing about having a big family.”
The majority of the Radford family live together in a former care home – the doting parents plus 18 of their kids and granddaughter Ophelia.
Sue previously revealed her and her husband Noel have spent £1million raising their large brood and she has been pregnant for 16-and-a-half years.
The Radfords famously don’t claim benefits from the government and live on the income from Noel’s bakery business and their show.
The Radford Pie company, which is located near their family home, has recently expanded and caters for online orders made from around the UK.
Sue also revealed that as a family their weekly food bill had exploded by more than £100 to a total of £400.
The family have also enjoyed hundreds of birthdays over the decades, and Sue guesses that they have celebrated 288 birthdays in total.
She said: “That’s a lot of wrapping of presents. And even though we have a lot of birthdays throughout the year, we always make sure the kids have their one special day.”
The other kids that live in the house are Jack, 23; Daniel, 21; Luke, 20; Millie, 19; Katie, 18; James, 17; Ellie, 15; Aimee, 14; Josh, 13; Max, 11; Tillie, 10; Oscar, nine; Casper, eight; Hallie, six; Phoebe, five; Archie, three, Bonnie, two; and baby Heidie.
The eldest children Chris, 31, Sophie 26, and Chloe, 25, have freed up a bit of space at the house by flying the nest.
Last week, Sue showed off the family’s new bathroom on her Instagram page.
Pictures show fashionable exposed timber beams, modern lighting around the mirror and luxury brown cabinets that match the toilet and bath.
She said: “Our new bathroom is finally finished. I absolutely love it.
“We just need a new light and to get all the accessories for it which I’m a bit rubbish at choosing.
“But I’m definitely thinking a plant at the back and of the room. Any idea on accessories please share.”
The majority of the children in the Radford family made their way back to school this week, with mum Sue sharing a proud photograph.
She posted on Instagram: “And just like that the summer holidays are over.
The family made the most of the summer with an eight-and-a-half-hour trip to Scotland from their home in Morecombe.
The 22 children managed to squeeze into the family’s campervan.
Sue posted to say the children were ”absolutely loving” it.
