Nigeria midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali has said interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen invited him for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations because he is a good player.

According to him, he is not bothered by the mixed reactions from fans and the media over his inclusion.

“I’m not under any pressure, because if I’m not good, the coach won’t call me.

“What I owe the coach is to give my best in every training session and the game, and to make sure I live to expectations.”

“I don’t think about what anyone says or thinks, I just want to work for the coach
